Sizzlefolk is where I explore outdoor cooking, useful gear and the decisions behind a practical first setup.

I’m Charles McQuain, and I’m learning this as I go. Sizzlefolk starts with griddles and first-setup questions: what to buy, what to skip, how much prep space you need and what you can cook on an ordinary night. There’s room to grow into grills, pizza ovens and casual backyard hosting later.

What this is

What to expect

A beginner’s perspective, clearly labeled. Every article says what its claims are based on, whether that’s published sources, personal impressions or something actually measured. The editorial policy explains the labels.
